World War Z
"World War Z" is a post-apocalyptic novel written by Max Brooks, published in 2006. The story is presented as an oral history, featuring interviews with survivors of a global zombie pandemic. It explores the social, political, and personal impacts of the outbreak, as well as humanity's struggle for survival against the undead.
The book was adapted into a film in 2013, starring Brad Pitt. The movie follows a former United Nations investigator as he travels the world to find a solution to the zombie crisis. Both the novel and film highlight themes of resilience, cooperation, and the fragility of civilization.
