World University Games
The World University Games, also known as the Universiade, is an international multi-sport event for university athletes. Organized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), it takes place every two years and features a wide range of sports, including athletics, swimming, and team sports. The event aims to promote friendship and understanding among students from different countries through sports.
Participants in the World University Games are typically aged between 17 and 25 and must be enrolled in a university or have recently graduated. The games provide a platform for young athletes to showcase their talents on a global stage, fostering both athletic and cultural exchange.
