Woodland Mouse
The Woodland Mouse is a small rodent commonly found in forests, grasslands, and gardens across Europe and parts of Asia. It has a slender body, large ears, and a long tail, typically measuring about 7 to 10 inches in length, including the tail. Its fur is usually brown or gray, providing excellent camouflage in its natural habitat.
These mice are primarily nocturnal and are known for their foraging behavior, feeding on seeds, fruits, and insects. They build nests in dense vegetation and are important for the ecosystem, as they help disperse seeds and serve as prey for various predators, including owls and foxes.
