Wisconsin State Senate
The Wisconsin State Senate is the upper chamber of the Wisconsin Legislature, which is responsible for making state laws. It consists of 33 elected members who represent different districts across the state. Senators serve four-year terms and are responsible for proposing, debating, and voting on legislation.
The Senate works alongside the Wisconsin Assembly, the lower chamber, to create and amend laws that affect the residents of Wisconsin. The Senate also plays a key role in confirming appointments made by the Governor of Wisconsin and overseeing state budgets and policies.
