Wireless Extenders
A wireless extender, also known as a Wi-Fi extender or range extender, is a device that boosts the coverage of a wireless network. It receives the existing Wi-Fi signal from a router and amplifies it, allowing users to access the internet in areas where the signal is weak or nonexistent. This is particularly useful in larger homes or buildings with multiple floors.
Setting up a wireless extender is typically straightforward. Users connect the device to their existing network, either through a WPS button or by entering the network credentials. Once configured, the extender creates a new Wi-Fi signal, effectively expanding the reach of the original network.
