Wingers
Wingers are players in team sports, particularly in soccer and hockey, who primarily operate along the outer edges of the field or rink. Their main role is to deliver crosses or passes into the center, create scoring opportunities, and stretch the opposing defense. Wingers are typically fast and skilled at dribbling, allowing them to maneuver around defenders.
In soccer, wingers often play in a 4-3-3 formation, while in hockey, they are positioned on the left or right side of the ice. Notable wingers include Lionel Messi in soccer and Alex Ovechkin in hockey, both known for their exceptional ability to score and assist.
