Wimbledon F.C.
Wimbledon F.C. is a professional football club based in Wimbledon, London. Founded in 1889, the club has a rich history and is known for its passionate fan base. They originally played in the lower divisions of English football and achieved significant success in the 1980s, including winning the FA Cup in 1988.
In 2002, the club faced financial difficulties and relocated to Milton Keynes, becoming Milton Keynes Dons. However, a group of supporters formed a new club, also named AFC Wimbledon, which began in the lower leagues and has since worked its way back up to the professional ranks.
