Willys-Overland
Willys-Overland was an American automobile manufacturer founded in 1908 by John North Willys. The company became well-known for producing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and military vehicles. One of its most famous models is the Willys Jeep, which played a crucial role during World War II.
In the post-war era, Willys-Overland continued to innovate, introducing models like the Willys Station Wagon and the Willys Pickup. The company eventually faced financial difficulties and was acquired by Kaiser Motors in 1953, marking the end of its independent operations.
