Willie Stargell
Willie Stargell was a professional baseball player who played his entire Major League Baseball career for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1962 to 1982. He was known for his powerful hitting and leadership on the field, earning the nickname "Pops." Stargell was a seven-time All-Star and won two World Series championships with the Pirates in 1971 and 1979.
Stargell was also recognized for his individual achievements, winning the National League Most Valuable Player (MVP) award in 1979. He hit 475 home runs during his career, ranking him among the top home run hitters in baseball history. After retiring, Stargell was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999.
