William Chatterton Dix
William Chatterton Dix was an English writer and hymnist born in 1837. He is best known for his contributions to Christian hymnody, particularly for his popular hymns such as “What Child Is This?” and “As with Gladness Men of Old.” Dix's work often reflects deep theological insights and a strong sense of devotion.
