Wilford Brimley
Wilford Brimley was an American actor and television personality, born on September 27, 1934, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He became well-known for his roles in films such as Cocoon and The Natural. Brimley was also recognized for his distinctive mustache and his deep, resonant voice.
In addition to acting, Brimley was a spokesperson for various products, including Quaker Oats and diabetes awareness campaigns. He was diagnosed with diabetes in his 50s, which led him to advocate for diabetes education and management. Brimley passed away on August 1, 2020, at the age of 85.
