Whale Sharks
Whale sharks are the largest fish in the ocean, reaching lengths of up to 40 feet or more. They are gentle giants, primarily feeding on plankton, small fish, and other tiny marine organisms by filtering water through their gills. Despite their size, they pose no threat to humans and are often seen swimming peacefully in warm waters.
These magnificent creatures are found in tropical and warm-temperate seas around the world. Whale sharks are known for their unique patterns of spots and stripes, which are as distinctive as human fingerprints. They are classified as endangered due to threats like overfishing and habitat loss.
