Webster Parish
Webster Parish is located in the northwestern part of the state of Louisiana. It was established in 1871 and is named after the famous American statesman Daniel Webster. The parish seat is Minden, which serves as the administrative center and is known for its historic downtown area.
The parish covers an area of approximately 600 square miles and features a mix of rural landscapes, including forests and farmland. It is part of the Shreveport-Bossier City Metropolitan Statistical Area and is home to several small communities, recreational areas, and local events that reflect the culture of the region.
