Waxwings
Waxwings are small, colorful birds belonging to the family Bombycillidae. They are known for their striking plumage, which often features shades of brown, gray, and yellow, along with distinctive red tips on their wing feathers. These birds are primarily found in North America, Europe, and Asia, often inhabiting forests and urban areas.
These social birds are famous for their fruit-eating habits, particularly enjoying berries from trees like mountain ash and holly. Waxwings are also known for their unique behavior of forming large flocks, which can create a lively spectacle as they feed and interact with one another.
