The Waterbuck is a large antelope found in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly near rivers and lakes. They are known for their distinctive shaggy coat, which is usually brown with a white ring around their hindquarters. Waterbucks are well-adapted to wetland habitats and are excellent swimmers, often seeking refuge in water to escape predators.
