Water-Resistant Apparel
Water-resistant apparel is designed to repel water to some extent, keeping the wearer dry during light rain or splashes. This type of clothing is often made from special fabrics that have been treated with a water-repellent coating, allowing moisture to bead up and roll off the surface. Common examples include jackets, pants, and footwear.
While water-resistant apparel can provide a level of protection, it is not completely waterproof. It is important to note that prolonged exposure to heavy rain can lead to water penetration. For more extreme conditions, waterproof gear is recommended, which offers a higher level of protection against moisture.
