Warwick Thornton
Warwick Thornton is an Australian filmmaker and director, known for his work that often explores Indigenous themes and stories. He gained international recognition for his debut feature film, Samson and Delilah, which won the Camera d'Or at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. Thornton's storytelling is deeply rooted in his own experiences as a member of the Pitjantjatjara people.
