Walter Chrysler
Walter Chrysler was an American automobile industry executive and founder of the Chrysler Corporation. Born on April 2, 1875, in Wamego, Kansas, he began his career as a mechanic and quickly rose through the ranks in the automotive field. His innovative ideas and leadership helped transform the automobile industry in the early 20th century.
In 1925, Chrysler merged his company with the Dodge Brothers and later acquired the Plymouth and DeSoto brands. Under his guidance, Chrysler became known for producing stylish and affordable cars, contributing significantly to the growth of the American automotive market. Walter Chrysler passed away on August 18, 1940.
