Walter Annenberg
Walter Annenberg was an American publisher, philanthropist, and diplomat, born on March 4, 1907. He was the owner of the Triangle Publications, which included popular magazines like TV Guide and Seventeen. Annenberg was known for his significant contributions to media and education, as well as his involvement in various charitable activities.
In addition to his publishing career, Annenberg served as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom from 1969 to 1974. He was a prominent supporter of the arts and education, establishing the Annenberg Foundation to promote various philanthropic initiatives. Annenberg passed away on January 1, 2002.
