Wallenstein
Wallenstein was a prominent military leader and politician during the Thirty Years' War, a conflict that took place in Europe from 1618 to 1648. Born in 1583 in Bohemia, he rose to power as a commander in the Imperial Army of the Holy Roman Empire. His strategic skills and ability to raise funds made him a key figure in the war.
Despite his successes, Wallenstein's ambitions led to political tensions. In 1634, he was dismissed from his command and later assassinated in 1634 due to fears that he sought to establish his own power. His life and career remain significant in European military history.
