W-Band
The W-Band is a designation in the microwave frequency range of the electromagnetic spectrum, typically covering frequencies from 75 to 110 gigahertz (GHz). It is used in various applications, including radar systems, satellite communications, and some types of wireless networks. The W-Band's high frequency allows for high-resolution imaging and precise measurements.
Due to its short wavelength, the W-Band can be affected by atmospheric conditions, such as rain and humidity, which can limit its effective range. However, its ability to transmit large amounts of data makes it valuable for advanced technologies, including 5G networks and millimeter-wave communications.
