Vultee Aircraft
Vultee Aircraft was an American aircraft manufacturer founded in the 1930s by Vultee and Lockheed. The company became known for producing military aircraft during World War II, including the Vultee Vengeance, a dive bomber, and the Vultee BT-13 Valiant, a trainer aircraft.
After the war, Vultee Aircraft faced challenges and eventually merged with Consolidated Aircraft in 1943, forming Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation. The company continued to produce various aircraft but eventually ceased operations in the late 1940s, marking the end of its significant contributions to aviation history.
