Volta Lighthouse
The Volta Lighthouse, also known as Ghana Lighthouse, is located at the entrance of Tema Harbor in Ghana. Built in 1961, it stands at a height of 30 meters and is designed to guide ships safely into the harbor. The lighthouse features a distinctive red and white striped pattern, making it easily recognizable.
The Volta Lighthouse is an important navigational aid for maritime traffic in the region. It emits a light that can be seen from several nautical miles away, helping to prevent accidents and ensure safe passage for vessels entering and leaving the harbor.
