Voice Of Russia
The "Voice of Russia" was the international broadcasting service of the Russian government, aimed at providing news and information about Russia to a global audience. Established in 1929, it operated in multiple languages and sought to promote Russian culture, politics, and viewpoints through radio, online platforms, and social media.
In 2014, the service was rebranded as Radio Sputnik and became part of the Rossiya Segodnya media group. The transition marked a shift in focus towards more contemporary news coverage and analysis, while continuing to emphasize Russia's perspective on international events.
