Vladislav II of Wallachia
Vladislav II of Wallachia was a ruler in the 15th century, known for his reign from 1447 to 1456. He was part of the House of Drăculești, a branch of the House of Basarab, and was the son of Mircea the Elder. His rule was marked by conflicts with the Ottoman Empire and internal struggles for power.
During his reign, Vladislav II sought to strengthen Wallachia's position in the region. He faced challenges from rival factions and was eventually overthrown, leading to a turbulent period in Wallachian history. His legacy is often overshadowed by that of his more famous half-brother, Vlad the Impaler.
