Vitus of Aquitaine
Vitus of Aquitaine was a Christian martyr and saint, believed to have lived in the 3rd century. He is often associated with the region of Aquitaine in modern-day France. According to tradition, he was a young boy who converted to Christianity and faced persecution for his beliefs.
Vitus is venerated in both the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church. His feast day is celebrated on June 15. He is often depicted in art alongside his companions, Modestus and Crescens, who were also martyred for their faith.
