Vita Sackville-West
Vita Sackville-West (1892-1962) was an English author, poet, and garden designer, known for her influential literary works and her role in the Bloomsbury Group. She was born into an aristocratic family and spent much of her life at Knole House, a historic estate in Kent, which inspired her writing.
Sackville-West is perhaps best known for her novel Orlando, a groundbreaking work that explores themes of gender and identity. In addition to her literary contributions, she was a passionate gardener, creating the famous Sissinghurst Castle Garden, which remains a popular attraction today.
