Violin Positioning
Proper violin positioning is essential for producing a good sound and playing comfortably. The violin should rest on the collarbone, supported by the chin and jaw. This allows the player to maintain a relaxed posture while keeping the instrument stable. The left hand should be positioned on the neck of the violin, with fingers curved and ready to press down on the strings.
The bow is held with a relaxed grip, allowing for fluid movement across the strings. The right arm should be positioned at a comfortable angle, enabling smooth bow strokes. Maintaining this proper positioning helps prevent strain and enhances overall performance.
