Vincent Pallotti
Vincent Pallotti was an Italian priest born on April 21, 1794, in Rome. He is best known for founding the Society of the Catholic Apostolate, also known as the Pallottines, in 1835. His mission was to promote the idea of a universal call to holiness and to encourage laypeople to participate actively in the Church's mission.
Pallotti dedicated his life to serving the poor and spreading the Gospel. He emphasized the importance of collaboration among clergy and laity in the Church's work. He passed away on January 22, 1850, and was canonized as a saint by Pope Pius XI in 1963.
