Viktor Tikhonov
Viktor Tikhonov was a prominent Russian ice hockey player and coach, born on January 4, 1930, in Moscow. He is best known for his time as the head coach of the Soviet Union national team, leading them to three Olympic gold medals and numerous World Championships during the 1970s and 1980s. Tikhonov's coaching style emphasized discipline and teamwork, making him a key figure in the development of Soviet hockey.
