Vietnamese Ethnic Groups
Vietnam is home to over 54 distinct ethnic groups, each with its own unique culture, language, and traditions. The majority group is the Kinh, who make up about 85% of the population. Other significant ethnic groups include the Tay, Thai, Muong, and Khmer, each contributing to the rich cultural tapestry of the country.
These ethnic groups are primarily located in different regions, with the Tay and Thai predominantly found in the northern mountainous areas, while the Khmer reside in the southern Mekong Delta.
