Vietnamese Communist Party
The Vietnamese Communist Party (VCP) is the founding and ruling political party of Vietnam. Established in 1930, it plays a central role in the country's governance and decision-making processes. The party follows Marxist-Leninist principles and aims to build a socialist society in Vietnam.
The VCP has maintained a one-party system since the end of the Vietnam War in 1975, which means no other political parties are allowed to operate legally. The party's leadership is responsible for setting national policies and guiding the country's economic and social development, focusing on modernization and integration into the global economy.
