He gained international recognition as the owner of Leicester City Football Club, which he purchased in 2010. Under his leadership, the club achieved a historic victory by winning the Premier League title in the 2015-2016 season, a remarkable feat for a team that had been considered underdogs. Tragically, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha passed away in a helicopter crash in October 2018, along with four others.
