Vicente Blasco Ibáñez
Vicente Blasco Ibáñez was a Spanish novelist, politician, and filmmaker born on January 29, 1867, in Valencia, Spain. He is best known for his vivid and passionate novels that often depict the struggles of the working class and the beauty of the Spanish landscape. Some of his most famous works include The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and The Cabin of the Woods.
In addition to his literary career, Blasco Ibáñez was involved in politics and was a member of the Spanish Parliament. He also ventured into filmmaking, adapting his own novels for the screen. He passed away on January 28, 1928, in France.
