Verbal Contracts
A verbal contract is an agreement between two or more parties that is spoken rather than written down. These contracts can be legally binding, depending on the circumstances and the laws of the jurisdiction. For a verbal contract to be enforceable, it typically must include an offer, acceptance, and consideration, which is something of value exchanged between the parties.
However, verbal contracts can be difficult to prove in court since there is no physical evidence of the agreement. Disputes may arise over the terms or existence of the contract, making it advisable to document important agreements in writing whenever possible.
