Venus Atmosphere
The atmosphere of Venus is thick and composed mainly of carbon dioxide, with clouds of sulfuric acid. This dense atmosphere creates a strong greenhouse effect, trapping heat and making Venus the hottest planet in our solar system, with surface temperatures reaching around 900 degrees Fahrenheit (475 degrees Celsius).
The atmospheric pressure on Venus is about 92 times that of Earth, similar to the pressure found deep in Earth's oceans. This extreme environment makes it challenging for spacecraft to explore the planet, as they must withstand high temperatures and corrosive conditions for extended periods.
