Venera 14
Venera 14 was a Soviet space probe launched on October 4, 1981, as part of the Venera program to explore the planet Venus. It successfully landed on Venus on March 1, 1982, and transmitted data for about 56 minutes before succumbing to the extreme conditions of the planet's surface.
The probe was equipped with scientific instruments to study the atmosphere, surface temperature, and geological features of Venus. It provided valuable information, including images of the surface and measurements of atmospheric pressure and temperature, contributing to our understanding of this hostile planet.
