Vassilis Spanoulis
Vassilis Spanoulis is a retired Greek professional basketball player, widely regarded as one of the best European players of his generation. Born on August 7, 1982, in Larissa, Greece, he played as a shooting guard and point guard. Spanoulis had a successful career in both the NBA and EuroLeague, where he became known for his scoring ability, leadership, and clutch performances.
Throughout his career, Spanoulis played for several teams, including Panathinaikos and Olympiakos. He won multiple EuroLeague titles and was named the EuroLeague Final Four MVP three times. His contributions to Greek basketball also include leading the national team to victory in the 2006 FIBA World Championship.
