Varney Airlines
Varney Airlines was an early American airline founded in 1926 by Walter Varney. It was one of the first companies to provide scheduled air mail services, operating routes primarily in the western United States. The airline played a significant role in the development of commercial aviation during its early years.
In 1930, Varney Airlines merged with several other carriers to form United Air Lines, which later became known as United Airlines. This merger helped expand air travel and set the foundation for one of the largest airlines in the world today. Varney Airlines is remembered for its contributions to the aviation industry.
