Van Beuren Studios
Van Beuren Studios was an American animation studio founded in 1920 by Paul Van Beuren and his brother, John Van Beuren. Located in Portland, Oregon, the studio produced a variety of animated shorts, primarily during the 1920s and early 1930s. They were known for their innovative techniques and unique characters, contributing to the early development of the animation industry.
The studio is best remembered for its series of silent cartoons, including the popular Bobby Bumps and The Little King. Although it eventually closed in 1934, Van Beuren Studios played a significant role in the evolution of animation, influencing future creators and studios.
