Valery Kubasov
Valery Kubasov was a prominent Soviet and Russian cosmonaut, born on January 7, 1935. He flew on three space missions, including the notable Soyuz 6 in 1969, where he conducted important experiments in space. Kubasov was also part of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project in 1975, which marked the first international human spaceflight.
In addition to his spaceflights, Kubasov was an engineer and a member of the Communist Party. He contributed to the development of various spacecraft and was awarded several honors for his achievements in space exploration. Kubasov passed away on December 19, 2023.
