Valdemar IV of Denmark
Valdemar IV of Denmark, also known as Valdemar the Victorious, was a king who ruled from 1340 to 1375. He was born in 1320 and was the son of King Christopher II. Valdemar IV is known for his efforts to strengthen the Danish monarchy and expand its territories, particularly through military campaigns in Scania and Estonia.
During his reign, Valdemar IV faced challenges, including conflicts with the Hanseaatic League and internal disputes among the nobility.
