Vaishnavite Deities
Vaishnavite deities are divine figures worshipped in the Vaishnavism tradition, a major sect of Hinduism. The most prominent among them is Vishnu, the preserver and protector of the universe, who is often depicted with a blue complexion and four arms. He is believed to incarnate in various forms, known as avatars, such as Rama and Krishna, to restore cosmic order.
Other important deities in Vaishnavism include Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity, who is Vishnu's consort, and Hanuman, the devoted monkey god known for his strength and loyalty. Devotees engage in rituals, prayers, and festivals to honor these deities and seek their blessings.
