Vaishnavas
Vaishnavas are followers of Vaishnavism, a major tradition within Hinduism that worships Vishnu and his avatars, particularly Krishna and Rama. They believe in the importance of devotion, or bhakti, as a means to attain spiritual liberation. Vaishnavas often engage in practices such as prayer, chanting, and temple worship.
The tradition emphasizes the concept of surrendering to God and cultivating a personal relationship with the divine. Vaishnavas celebrate various festivals, including Janmashtami and Rath Yatra, which honor the life and teachings of Krishna. Their teachings promote compassion, humility, and service to others.
