Vaikunta Ekadasi
Vaikunta Ekadasi is a significant Hindu festival celebrated on the 11th day of the waxing moon in the month of Margashirsha. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, one of the principal deities in Hinduism, and is observed by devotees to seek his blessings for spiritual growth and liberation.
On this day, devotees fast and engage in prayers, chanting, and visiting temples. Many believe that observing this fast helps in attaining moksha, or liberation from the cycle of birth and death. The festival is especially important in the southern states of India, where elaborate rituals and celebrations take place.
