V2P
V2P, or Vehicle-to-Pedestrian communication, is a technology that enables vehicles to communicate with pedestrians. This system uses sensors and wireless communication to alert drivers about nearby pedestrians and vice versa, enhancing safety in urban environments.
By sharing information about location and movement, V2P aims to reduce accidents and improve awareness. It is part of a broader category known as V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything), which includes communication between vehicles, infrastructure, and other road users, contributing to smarter and safer transportation systems.
