Völundarkviða
Völundarkviða is an Old Norse poem found in the Poetic Edda, a collection of mythological and heroic tales from medieval Scandinavia. The poem tells the story of Völundr, a skilled blacksmith and a tragic hero, who is captured by a king and forced into servitude.
Throughout the narrative, Völundr seeks revenge against his captors after enduring great suffering. He uses his craftsmanship to create beautiful items and ultimately devises a plan to escape and avenge himself, highlighting themes of fate, loss, and the consequences of betrayal in Norse mythology.
