Väinö Linna
Väinö Linna was a Finnish author born on December 20, 1920, in the town of Pori. He is best known for his novels that explore Finnish history and identity, particularly during and after World War II. His most famous work, The Unknown Soldier, depicts the experiences of Finnish soldiers during the Continuation War against the Soviet Union.
