Utah Court of Appeals
The Utah Court of Appeals is an intermediate appellate court in the state of Utah. Established in 1987, it reviews decisions made by lower courts, including district courts and some administrative agencies. The court aims to ensure that the law is applied consistently and fairly across the state.
The court consists of a chief judge and several associate judges who hear cases in panels. It primarily handles civil and criminal appeals, as well as family law matters. The decisions made by the Utah Court of Appeals can be further appealed to the Utah Supreme Court in certain circumstances.
