Ushas (Dawn)
Ushas is the personification of dawn in ancient Hindu mythology. She is often depicted as a beautiful goddess who brings light and warmth to the world, signaling the end of night and the beginning of a new day. Ushas is celebrated in the Rigveda, one of the oldest sacred texts, where she is described as a radiant figure who drives away darkness and awakens all living beings.
In addition to her role as a bringer of light, Ushas is associated with renewal and hope. She is often invoked in prayers for a fresh start and is seen as a symbol of the cyclical nature of time. Her presence is believed to inspire creativity and vitality, making her an important figure in Vedic traditions.
